Terms of Service

1. The service

CO8 Product Image analyzes product image galleries and generates proposed replacements for the featured image. The app does not change a product image until an authorized merchant user approves and publishes a candidate. The other images in the gallery are not modified.

2. Merchant responsibilities

You must be authorized to act for the store. You are responsible for reviewing every generated image before publishing it, checking product accuracy and legal compliance, and ensuring you have the rights needed to process the source images and use the output.

3. AI-generated output

Generated candidates can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. Automated quality checks reduce risk but do not replace merchant review. We do not warrant that output is unique, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

4. Billing

Paid plans are purchased and managed through Shopify. Current plan prices, allowances, trial terms, and charge details are shown in Shopify before approval. Plan changes and cancellation are handled through Shopify's app billing interface. Except where required by law, charges already incurred are non-refundable.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the app to:

• Process or publish content that is unlawful, deceptive, or infringes another party's rights.
• Impersonate a merchant, brand, or person you are not authorized to represent.
• Attempt to bypass quotas, security controls, Shopify policies, or access another shop's data.
• Disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or resell the service without written permission.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the app available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Shopify, hosting, storage, and AI-provider changes can affect functionality. We may change or suspend features and will provide reasonable notice for material planned changes when practical.

7. Termination and data

You may stop using the app by uninstalling it. We may suspend access for non-payment, abuse, security risk, or breach of these terms. Data retention and deletion after uninstall follow the Privacy Policy and Shopify's mandatory privacy webhook process.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is.” We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or a merchant's decision to publish an output. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount paid for the app in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Contact and changes to these terms

Questions can be sent to support@co8.ai. If these terms change, the effective date above changes. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised terms.
